When she and Zohaib married at Enterkine House in Ayrshire, the day carried a quiet significance beyond the couple themselves. People were paying attention. After dinner, guests arrived at the bar — a white-fronted counter marked with the couple's names and date in gold — to make their selection. Conical Fragrance Theory sampling vessels sat at the bar's edge alongside brass atomisers, allowing guests to test before committing. The fragrance concierge then hand-bottled each chosen scent on the spot, finishing it with a ribbon and placing it into one of the ivory keepsake boxes arranged along the counter. The whole exchange took perhaps two minutes. It felt, nonetheless, considered.
